Ms. Sanders grew up in sunny South Florida and attending school in Weston! She attended the University of South Florida where she received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and then obtained her teaching certificate with an endorsement in ESOL. Ms. Sanders is a huge USF Bulls and Miami Dolphins fan and enjoys watching football on the weekends!
Ms. Sanders has taught third grade for four years at Everglades Elementary. Before teaching in the public school system, Ms. Sanders taught in the preschool sector.
Ms. Sanders loves spending time riding her bike on the beach, exercising daily and walking her dog Koda. She attends live music festivals and enjoys refinishing furniture and antique pieces! Ms. Sanders also enjoys working on her home garden and caring for her expanding orchid collection. Ms. Sanders looks forward to expanding her garden with hopes of starting the first certified NatureScape garden at Everglades!
